Exactly the kind of service one hopes for from a restaurant.
Vesuvio's is an authentic Italian restaurant located in downtown Brampton by Gage Park and we'll start by saying that this is a place we've already been to twice. It's upscale casual dining-feel and old world recipes make this place a highly recommended spot for a date night or dinner with friends and family, without totally breaking the bank.
We've tried the gnocchi, caprese salad, cannelloni, linguine-mussel-clam pasta, and charcuterie board so far.
Everything was stellar, minus the charcuterie board "Antipasti Vesuvio". For an Italian restaurant, this is one area where we were surprised they went wrong. The board was disappointing; small morcels of meat and cheese, presented on a regular plate and without any real flair. With all the cheese and meat vendors in and around Brampton, there are options out there for the restaurant to play with. Hell, they could even buy a few different cheeses from Fortinos for all we care. Just give us something better.
Outside of that one complaint, we don't really have any other turn-offs when it comes to Vesuvio's. The renovations make this place look fresh, it's kept fairly clean and the staff is knowledgeable and very friendly.
