What's the fuss with Oscar's?
The website claims it's the best Bar and Grill in Brampton. That was promising.
We read a bunch of rave reviews on all the go-to Brampton pages... but this restaurant fell flat in so many ways.
First off, why the hell are there two entrances?
Literally from the second you walk in, you're met with a lackluster restaurant. No host (we literally waited 5 minutes before a bartender said "Oh just sit anywhere"), terrible decor and a strange layout.
We figured this was just one of those hole in the wall restaurants that has great food.
But it wasn't.
We got the beef dip and ribs. Their "best sellers". What we learned is that just because something says "best seller" does not mean it's a "customer favourite".
Probably some of the worst barbecue we've ever had and that's pretty rough considering it's a roadhouse that apparently prides itself on its bbq.
Service was probably the best part of the experience.
